Group of Financial Instruments that need in Treasury business

Group of Financial Instruments

Definition:
Financial instruments are categorized based on common characteristics, such as their product type. This categorization helps in managing and processing financial transactions more efficiently.

Use:
In the Create Financial Transaction function (transaction FTR_CREATE), selecting a group of financial instruments filters and limits the entry fields relevant to the transaction. Depending on your selection, the system may deactivate certain input fields such as:

  • ID Number
  • Transaction Currency
  • Portfolio
  • Order/Fixing
  • Contract

When using the Edit Financial Transaction function (transaction FTR_EDIT), the selected group preselects available activities for managing the financial transaction, such as:

  • Change
  • Display
  • Settle
  • Reverse
  • Give Notice/Terminate
  • Roll Over
  • History
  • Premature Settlement
  • Fixing
  • Order Expiration
  • Execute Order

Example:
Selecting "08 Foreign Exchange" in transaction FTR_EDIT enables you to perform activities like changing, displaying, or settling the transaction.
